Nestlé is celebrating its first wind energy project in the world with the hosting of two wind turbines at its Nestle Waters North America (NWNA) bottling plant in Cabazon, CA. The turbines will provide wind power for 30 percent of the facility where the company produces its Arrowhead and Nestle Pure Life brand bottled waters.

Paul Grimwood, CEO of Nestlé UK & Ireland, has been appointed to the role of chairman and CEO of Nestlé USA following the announcement by current chairman and CEO Brad Alford, who is to retire in October, 2012.
Grimwood has been CEO of Nestlé UK & Ireland since January 2009, and headed the Nestlé UK Confectionery business for three years prior to that. Grimwood also led a major investment program to create Nestlé's manufacturing operations in the UK. He joined Nestlé in 2001 in Nestlé Purina PetCare UK & Ireland.
Nestlé USA announced the retirement of Laurie MacDonald, vice president, corporate and brand affairs. She joined Nestle in 1985 working in the Nutritional Products Division before joining Corporate and Brand Affairs.
