Conner is obtaining an Associate of Arts degree at Des Moines Area Community College before transferring to Iowa State University.

Outside of the classroom, Connor helped with high school theatre productions, assisted with establishing a church youth group and participated in a business leadership camp. Additionally, Connor was appointed as the Boone Community School District Calligrapher of 2010.

Noted Connor's English Honors teacher, "One of Connor's most impressive traits is his ability to interact well with people. He is polite, kind, interested in others, and quick with a smile.
